Examination Guidelines
Guidelines
- Students should apply for online written exam and practical exam prior 15 days.
- Fill the application form here : https://raymediinternational.com/application-form/
- Once applied within 72 hours our co-ordinators will inform about the date and time of online written and practical examinations through mail.
- Check your mail for the following details: Exam Hall ticket, Exam date, Exam duration, and Session Link and password.
- The student should complete the self assessments in all the modules before applying for examinations.
- Link for the manual video of how to take the test will be shared.
- Hall ticket will be generated according to the application and shared.Â
- The hall ticket should be presented on the day of examination.
- On the day of exam the examination portal link will be shared.
- Login to the portal using your Raymedi Course credentials.
- Candidates are requested to be ready before 30 minutes with laptop/desktop/tab attached with web-camera and ensure strong internet connection without any interruption for the online exam.
- The candidates are forbidden from taking any material during exam, that can be used for the malpractice at the time of examination.
Online Written Exam
- The written exam will be online computer based.
- There will be multiple choice single response questions, true and false questions, fill in the blanks questions and multiple choice multiple response questions.
- There will be 50 multiple choice questions with single response with 1 marks each.
- There will be 20 True/False questions of 1 marks each.
- There will be 10 fill in the blanks questions of 1 marks each.Â
- There will be 10 multiple choice and multiple response questions of 2 marks each. In this there will be two paragraph related to critical care case, and 5 questions will be asked based on the paragraph.
- Total marks 100
- There will be no negative markings
- Candidates should score 50% marks for passing theory examination.
- Duration will be 2 hours.
Online Practical Exam
- The oral exam is conducted by a two examiners over two hours through online
- The coordinators will share the examination meeting link through mail once they clear theory examination.
- Once the candidate enters the examination link should present the hall ticket to the examiner.
- There will be two ICU cases scenarios with preselected questionaries with 25 marks each (duration 30 minutes each)
- Examiner can ask more questions to know depth of knowledge.
- Total marks 50
- Need 50% marks for passing case scenarios.
- There will be 5 stations with duration 60 minutes
- First station: Basic and advanced skills ( BLS, ACLS, Airway and Bedside Haemodynamic Monitoring)
- Second Station: Laboratory Reports interpretation( ABG, Biochemistry, Haematology and Microbiology)
- Third station: Radiology interpretation( X-ray, CT scan, MRI scan, Ultrasound, ECG and 2D Echocardiography)
- Fourth station: Ventilator setting and Graphics
- Fifth Station: Drugs & Communication
- Each Station Carries 10 marks
- Total Marks 100
- Need 50% marks for passing stations
Results
- The results will be announced within one month after completing the theory examination.
